Description
Kyle, Texas was founded in 1880 when Fergus Kyle and the family of David Moore donated 200 acres for a township after it was decided that rail line from Austin to San Antonio would be built through the area. Additionally, the popular restaurant menu item fajita had its beginnings in Kyle when Juan Antonio “Sonny” Falcón cooked them up for people at the Diez y Seis celebration in 1969.
